Hair colouring?

Ur hair has lost moisture and has hence become rough.Use some natural conditioners like yoghurt, eggs etc.drink plenty of water and foods rich in proteins and vitamins A and E.Oil ur hair atleast once a week if u have oily skin and twice, if u have dry skin.Use a good quality shampoo and conditioner and dont shampoo very often as it would make ur hair coarse.U can try the ritha-awla-shikakai treatment for hairwash. In two months time u will have better hair. Also take care and cover ur hair while going out in the sun as it will again make ur hair dry.

Henna can be applied after two months. Its a natural conditioner.

Hair colouring?

buy some shampoo %26amp; conditioner from a professional salon. this should help heal your damaged hair.

Hair colouring?

find out about spell check first....

Hair colouring?

It's best to go to a hair dresser. Don't mess yourself !!!Ask a hairdresser asap.

Hair colouring?

You need to now put moisture into your hair. You also need to be careful because Garnier sometimes isn't permanent and will run if gets wet in public/private. People do this often, which isn't the best nor worse.

Hair colouring?

After you dyed your hair red, the WORST thing you could've done is dyed it again.

What you need to buy is a hot oil treatment. Use as directed, and from then on, use shampoo and conditioner specifically made for color treated hair.

I'm a 35 year old male starting to take chem and starting to lose some hair? what should I do?

I think the best thing to do is shave it either very close with a clipper or shave it bald with a razor. It will look more obvious that you're losing your hair if it is longer and patchy. Good luck to you....

I'm a 35 year old male starting to take chem and starting to lose some hair? what should I do?

Have you tried Rogaine? I've seen it recommended to women so that they can thicken their eyebrows.

Chemo makes you lose your hair no matter what be outgoing. Wigs are weird. Sure people may laugh but whats more important that just being your self with no fake stuff.

Hi Unclekeebler,

Some guys start as early as 17 did you try procerin?

here is a link you can read up on it first. http://www.procerin.com/

Good luck.

I'm a 35 year old male starting to take chem and starting to lose some hair? what should I do?

Just go ahead and shave it. Even if you haven't lost it all yet, shaving it will probably look better than it being very patchy. Tons of men shave their heads for various reasons, and look great. No one will laugh or stare, it's common to see bald men. Your hair will come back once you're through with the chemo. In the meantime, concentrate on taking care of yourself! Best of luck.

Perhaps consider shaving your head while ahead of the treatment? Get well.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

I just wanted to know if pulling your hair actually makes u permanently lose your hair. I have this habit of playing/pulling the hair at the front of my head especially when im thinking, bored, or stressed. I have lost quite a lot of hair in that part of my head, but the hair loss is from before i started this habit.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

It is called trichotillomania , if you search on the net you will find out everything about it.I can tell you from personal experience that it doesn't make you permanently lose your hair.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

not really. I've read somewhere that its actually a good exercise for hair roots...just forgot where ...

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

It really depends on whether the roots of your hair are strong or not.

Just try not to pull on your hair too much and don't take any risks doing so.

I'm not too sure if u will permanently lose hair just by pulling it. However, there are always therapies to grow your hair back...

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

I don't think that is the case. My mom pulled and twisted my dad's hair on a trip once because she was nervous where they were driving. It fell out in a little spot BUT IT GREW BACK GRAY!

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

hey there. first of all, it depend on what kind of hair u have. a humanbeing loses around 50-100 hairs per day, so dont panic. if it is much more than that, then use a anti hair breackage product. every five years the hair makes a one month brake and doenst grow. so it might seem that u are loosing to much :)

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

MAYBE NOT PERMANENTLY, BUT IT'S NOT GOOD FOR UR HAIR, THAT'S FOR SURE!! STOP DOING IT FIRST, THEN START TAKING SOME PILLS TO HELP UR HAIR GROW AGAIN- FOR EXAMPLE PANTOGAR OR REVALID

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

Could it be ...Alopecia Areata?

Alopecia areata is considered an autoimmune disease, in which the immune system, which is designed to protect the body from foreign invaders such as viruses and bacteria, mistakenly attacks the hair follicles, the tiny cup-shaped structures from which hairs grow. This can lead to hair loss on the scalp and elsewhere.

In most cases, hair falls out in small, round patches about the size of a quarter. In many cases, the disease does not extend beyond a few bare patches. In some people, hair loss is more extensive. Although uncommon, the disease can progress to cause total loss of hair on the head (referred to as alopecia areata totalis) or complete loss of hair on the head, face, and body (alopecia areata universalis).

What Causes It?

In alopecia areata, immune system cells called white blood cells attack the rapidly growing cells in the hair follicles that make the hair. The affected hair follicles become small and drastically slow down hair production. Fortunately, the stem cells that continually supply the follicle with new cells do not seem to be targeted. So the follicle always has the potential to regrow hair.

Scientists do not know exactly why the hair follicles undergo these changes, but they suspect that a combination of genes may predispose some people to the disease. In those who are genetically predisposed, some type of trigger--perhaps a virus or something in the person's environment--brings on the attack against the hair follicles.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

i don't think so.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

i u hav more problem of loosing hairs,u can simply go to a hair specialist.or if u know about the "YOGA" of "BABA RAMDEV" IN INDIA.u can also try that one.and stop thinking that u hav loss ur hair due to this habit.its not true at all.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

it can when done too much but there's another problem here... compulsive hair pulling is a disease (trichotilomania). it's when people do it when they feel stressed out, hair pulling is such a relief for them. you know better, if it bothers you so much, consult a doctor. be evaluated. it's better to be sure right? so that it can be prevented.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

please stop if you want a beautiful head of hair. i used to do that for some reason and just take my word for it, its not as pretty it could be.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

No .

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

yes. I am a stylist and this is actually common. (mostly with girls, but I've seen boys do it too). Just like waxing, if you constantly rip hair out at the follicle, you will "kill" the root there. If it has started to fall out before you started this (this is a normal spot for hair to thin) you will just be making it worse. Sorry.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

Maybe if you pull your hair up to tight.

Does pulling your hair make you loose hair?

As others have suggested, it sounds like you might have trichotillomania which is an impulse control disorder which compels you to pull out your hair. Most sufferers pull from their head, their eyebrows, or their eyelashes - but some pull from anywhere and everywhere. I actually pull out my eyelashes, and used to pull from my head for a little while when I was younger but then I pulled heaps out one day and I looked in the mirror and there was a big bald patch on my head, I think that shocked me into stopping. But I still battle the eyelash pulling. It sounds like you have a pretty mild case, some people pull so much that they end up completely bald, with no eyebrows or eyelashes. You can visit http://www.trichotillomania.co.uk/ for more info and read stories, and find info on how to try and stop. Good luck! And to answer your question (I think that's the idea of this site, right?!) - I have been pulling out my eyelashes for years, and they still grow back. They take a LOT longer to grow back, and they don't seem to be as thick, but I can't tell whether that's because some of them aren't growing or because I end up pulling more out before they get a chance. But so far, they have been growing back. Just keeping busy has been the best way for me to combat this disorder, as I only seem to do it when I'm thinking, watching tv or reading - idle hands are the trichotillomania devil's playground!! Good luck I hope you beat it : )

Hair Repair?

I started to lose my hair- it thinned out real bad. But still, I have hair. I started to take Propecia, and hair still falls out, but does not leave a "bald spot" or the hair line does not appear to be further receding. The problem is because I started to take propecia to late, one temple receded badly. Should I have hair transplated to cover the one temple? Because I can keep my hair cut short and people will not notice my hair loss. Any advice please?

I am a 24 y/o Male.

Hair Repair?

You if you want you should get the transplant.

Hair Repair?

yes. you should get the transplants.

Hair Repair?

Didnt you just ask this question 10 min ago?

I use hair gel and i've started to notice my hair changed from black to brown and i've los

because most gels have alcohol in them which strips the hair down and when exposed to the sun after applying it... it acts as a bleach (hence the lightening effect). It also thins the hair because alcohol dries out the hair, causing it to be dry and brittle which makes it prone to breakage. As your hair breaks off it will inevitably become thinner. You should try to find a gel that is alcohol-free... or preferably a moisturizing mousse...which will be less harsh on your hair. Good luck!

oh yeah... and make sure you get a trim to get rid of the unhealthy split ends which are causing your hair to thin right now.

I use hair gel and i've started to notice my hair changed from black to brown and i've lost alot more hair. y?

i'm not sure why it woulda changed colors...but gel definitely does make your hair fall out. use mousse instead. it's not as bad.

I use hair gel and i've started to notice my hair changed from black to brown and i've lost alot more hair. y?

stop using it or you wont have any hair at all there must something in the gel that has something toxic in it

I use hair gel and i've started to notice my hair changed from black to brown and i've lost alot more hair. y?

it's very possible that the gel is stripping your hair color i would switch

I use hair gel and i've started to notice my hair changed from black to brown and i've lost alot more hair. y?

Well you might be using way to much hair gel. Try putting a little on your wrist and then using your other hand and use that. Also try mixing it with a little water. Like wet your other hand with water before you put the gel in you hair.

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

maybe

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

Yes, sadly I read that somewhere.

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

Depends on how much hair loss.

You usually lose a certain amount everyday, but a little more could be to stress, poor diet, or lack of a routine sleep schedule.

If its not an excessive amount of hair loss, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it seems un natural, i would go see a doctor.

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

YES I LOSE my hair and my hair dresser says. now what i the hell has happened to since i've seen you baby? take biotin. it helps i promise

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

It can be! Stress of any kind can cause lots of damage, namely hair loss!

If you think too much about something that worries you for a certain period of time, you get stressed, and it can appear in the shape of hair loss, increase or decrease of weight, headaches...

So don't stress because of exams... study and solve them the best way you can!

bye

Is stress(exam) one of the reasons of the hair lost?

Reduce Stress By Exercising

Exercise is one of the easiest ways to reduce stress. Exercise assists your cardiovascular system and blood circulation. By performing exercises consistently your overall health, including sugar levels will remain normal.

Exercise is good for mental growth. Exercise makes our mind calm and develops memory. It helps increase self-confidence and moulds our personality. There are various forms of exercises such as aerobic as well as anaerobic exercises, which provide various benefits. Aerobic exercises are running, swimming, cycling and walking. They aim to burn your excess calories and also increase your energy. When you are following these exercises you inhale a lot of fresh oxygen. In this way they are beneficial to the cardiovascular system and keep the blood circulation process intact.

If you follow a regular diet pattern and exercise schedule then you will surely burn a lot of calories. In order to get complete benefit, you must aim to exercise for about 3 to 5 times a week. Anaerobic exercises builds your muscles and they are classified into two categories:They are Isotonics and Isometric exercises.

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

I'm not looking to make my hair blond, I'm looking to make it blue. But because my hair is naturally a kind of bright orange, i won't be able to get the vibrant light blue color I'm hoping for unless i make my hair considerably lighter first.

I'm afraid of damaging my hair with peroxide, and/or losing my natural hair color entirely.

Essentially, I'm looking for a way to temporarily make my hair lighter, in order to apply a semi-permanent blue dye...

The real question here is this:

Is there a way for me to lighten my hair, and dye it, so that when the semi-permanent blue is finally all washed out ... my hair will return to its naturally red-orange tones?

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

You can lighten your hain w/ lemon.....run lemon in your hair %26amp; then hang out in the sun.

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

Stay out in the sun a lot, it will lighten your hair color for sure. :)

Am i pretty?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

if your hair is all natural (not colored at all) you can use haircolor to lighten it, no bleach necessary. that will only work if it is completely virgin hair. if that's the case, find the color you want to lighten it to at a local beauty supply store. i would go with something with a cool toned base since your goal is to color it blue anyway. good luck!

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

Squeeze the juice out of a lemon into a small container, and coat your hair with it.

When your hair is completly covered, expose it to sunlight and stay in the sun for a few hours. The acidity of the juice combined with the sun will temporerily lighten it, and cause no/minimal damage to your hair.

Another thing you can use is Sun-in, pretty much the same concept, like tanning oil for your hair. You can get it at drugstores/supermarkets

Hope that helps :)

Is It Possible To Lighten My Hair w/o Bleach??

Ok. Hairdresser talking here- yes, lemon juice will eventually lighten your hair. But I wouldn't use it. Same with Sun-In, stay away! ...it is a metallic-based product and will ruin your hair over time. It will also affect any chemical process you perform on your hair. Trust me on this.

Now-- there are now hair colors out on the market that have the ability to lighten hair by up to 5 shades. I believe they are made by Miss Clairol. Choose a color with a drab base (blue is most common). This will prevent your already red hair from pulling more red tones when it goes thru the lightening process. You want to get the hair you are going to dye blue as close to being white as you can. Then apply your blue color. It will fade, as bleaches hair has less ability to "hold" color.

Unfortunately, I have to warn you, this is more of a commitment than I think you want as you said that you wanted it to wash out and your original color to be there. It won't. You would need corrective coloring to return the hair section to its original color. I hope you find this advice to be informative and helpful.
