my hair was as dry as brittle as a dolls hair, i had to cut it up to my chin with little bangs since the front fried the most. I have to do something, what kindof extension should i use with out more damage and can anything be done up front on my bangs

I think you need to just accept your short hair cut and learn to style it in a way you will like it. And in the mean time you need to deep condition your hair OFTEN. If you don't want to go to a Salon and get this than get a good deep conditioner at Sally's and some processing caps and wash your hair then put lots of conditioner in your hair and massage it in then put the processing cap on and take a damp thin towel and microwave it for about 35-45 seconds and wrap it around your head. I would leave this on for at least an hour ...longer if you want...you will need to keep reheating the towel once it cools. Then rinse it out and then turn the cold water on and give it a quick rinse under the cold. I would do this several times a week and in the meantime allow your hair to rest and to get healthy again and grow.....I think hair extensions will only add to the damage. Short hair can be styled to look really cute...just try and find something you like or at least you can live with for a while until your hair gets better ....

The best thing to do for your hair is to let it grow out and let it get all them chemicals out of it, hope this helps.

The cut that you described sounds cute... but if it isn't, you can always get a weave...everyone on TV wears them. They can put the weave in the front, too. Don't panic. Either wear your hair short and cute like Paris Hilton or get a long weave or whatever. The choices are endless nowdays, and it's just a hairstyle. It will grow back. Don't worry.

doesn't matter what you do, your hair is breaking off, whether you cut or condition, your hair is going to break. And you are asking about Hair extensions? LOL extension to what? Cut it off and start over.

My boss had the same thing happen to her. She went to a black salon (they are the best at doing weeves, clearly) Weeves are really good for not hurting your hair. It wont kill your hair or make it short when you take it out, extensions that are glued in will KILLLL YOUR HAIR.
