i take oral chemotherapy weekly and don't want to lose what hair i still have, but i can't stand the gray!!!! i have also had a round of retuxim in the past year please help

If you are currently undergoing treatment you need to discuss this with you Dr. depending on the medication and the type of haircoloring that you use there could be adverse reactions, rashes, skin irritations. The Dr may tell you that its fine to do it, but then again he might say hold off. Only your Dr knows for sure.

Best to ask your doctor. The dye in hair color has been known to cause cancer also and you already have a week immune system. It probably depends on your type of cancer, the actual color of the dye (I think anything with red dye is worse than others), and the kind of chemo you have been and how damaging to normal cells that chemo is.
