Why do they loose their hair?

Why is it only men and for that matter all male animals lose their hair when they age? Is it true women don't loose theirs? Why?

Why do they loose their hair?

women do lose their hair just not to the extent that men do. Some womens hair starts thinning and a few becoming completely bald. But in most cases women's hair just starts thinning.

Why do they loose their hair?

Falling levels of testosterone.

Why do they loose their hair?

Why do they loose their hair?

no, women loose their hairs too

look when u get old u get weak and die

hairs also gets weak and die thats natural u just need to take care

Why do they loose their hair?

Most men who lose their hair have increased levels of a hormone known as 5(alpha)-reductase, which transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

The DHT, in turn, causes follicles to sprout shorter, finer hairs, before eventually dying out.

Why do they loose their hair?

I don't believe that only most of the males either humans or animals loses their hair when they grow old, some people or animals loses their hair even when they are young or old, male or female. there are some factors to consider in this, 1) It might be hereditary (or runs in the family) check it out, 2), if consuming too much shampoo or conditioner not compatible with your hair, because some of their ingredients are harsh to the hair, check the ingredients and ask your dermatologist or hair experts as to what shampoo or conditioner to use to be on the safe %26amp; healthy side, 3) Combing it to hard that it breaks the hair in between or by roots, 4) If you have scalp disease or dandruffs, again check the specialist. Hope this answer your query....

Why do they loose their hair?

ask the doctor

Why do they loose their hair?

I learned this in my biology class...it's under something called sex influenced traits where balding falls under. In men it takes either two dominant alleles of the same(or something) of the balding gene or just one dominant allele and one recessive for balding to be exhibited upon men. In women it has to be two alleles of the same kind for balding to occur....so there you go...it's confusing the way I explained it..just look it up, its true!
