I spoke with this hair stylist once and she has a passion in specializing in wigs and specifically lace wigs for women who have alopecia or underwent chemotherapy.

The unique thing about these wigs are that they are comfortable and look natural/real. They are a bit expensive but they last longer than cheaper wigs.

You can also try to use head wraps/scarves. They are in style, and cute bc you can match them with outfits.

And most importantly, don't be afraid to rock your natural head, whether you're bald or your hair is still growing! But I understand if you feel more comfortable covering up until your hair grows back.

It really depends on her personality. Wigs are a good choice and not too expensive these days. Also there are cute caps and hats out, esp. now that Fall is beginning. Some women really want to go all out when they lose their hair and some just want to cover it with a hat/cap. I'd also check with the local Cancer Society as they often have used things from women who have already had chemo and donated their wigs etc so that she can try on some and see what she might like to do. There are also places in larger cities that do make overs for free for women who have cancer and are going thru chemo and hairloss%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;the do make up and show the women how to look good with little effort. You can usually find them thru the local cancer society, too.
