It can cause dry scalp and dandruff if you don't condition enough, and if you lighten your hair too often it can break off, but it shouldn't come out a the root.

dye doesn't damage your scalp but if you dye then bleach then dye again it can cause some hair breakage but not loss.

you night have dandruff for a few days cause it does dry your scalp out. You'll only have hair loss if you dye you hair too often.

if you die it lots then it could cause your hair to start falling out would not do it that much if you want to be hair less then do it as much as you want

If not used properly, and if used to excess it can damage both the hair and scalp. It's mostly the developer that does the damage. Redken is one of the better companies, however it's more how you use the products rather than which company produces it that you need to concern yourself with. For best results see a professional.

The only way hair color can damage you scalp is if you are allergic to it. Now bleach is a different story. It can cause chemical burns.

Hair color does not cause hair loss either. Hair naturally sheds, much like leaves on trees. It grows sheds and then the follicle goes dormant for a time and then the process starts all over again.

You may have your own cycles of hair loss as well. Myself I shed a lot of hair in the spring and fall. I wish I knew why but it happens every year and I am no longer upset by it.

Probably not unless you have an allergic reaction or use the product while you have any kind of sores on you scalp. But even then, it shouldn't be permanent. It should not cause hair loss.
