Why do Asian girls dye their hair?

I'm Asian and I think black hair looks cool, mysterious, and attractive. I know 2 girls who have natural black hair and I was very attracted to them. Then they dyed their hair and I lost interest. It seems like 90% of Asian girls dye their hair. I like natural beauty and all this hair dying seems so fake and superficial. Do you do it because so many others do it?

Well I dye mine! I'm half asian and my hair is naturally dark. I like dye it because I like to have a change. I have had all kinds of different hair! I think they change it because they get bored of the same haircolor. I have found that different guys like me better with different kinds of hair. Some like me better with dark and some like me better with blonde. It just depends on your taste really.

Why do ANY girls of ANY race dye their hair? ... Because they want a different color. If you lost interest because they changed their hair color, YOU are superficial too and only interested on whats on the outside! Dont be a hypocrite!

I think Asian girls dye their hair for the same reason any other girls dye their hair. They want to make a change that simple and inexpensive. Thank goodness it's only their hair and not all these other surgeries etc..

they probably do.. i had one year of highlighting my hair blonde(grade 6) and now (grade 9) i go by my natural color, i just lovee itt! It's reallly dark brown, allmost black. I like it cause when i wear red it looks hott lol

Being Chinese, it kind of annoys me, too. The main colour that just pisses me off is the blonde. That looks SO wrong and fobby. You're looking at the girl from the back, thinking, "Oh, blonde with a nice body, blonde with a nice body...." then I see the face, "OH, GOOD GOD!!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" It looks like nature has been violated.

Yes, they do it for the peer pressure because it's the "thing" in Hong Kong. That, the guys' tight clothing, and tYpInG lIkE tHiS. It's Chinese FOB like that makes me feel ashamed to be Chinese. I hope the next bandwagon thing there is jumping off a cliff.
